RST Forum at Valley of Words ( November 17-19, 2017 @ Dehradun )

Shivalik Hills Foundation Trust is organizing “Valley of Words” Arts & Literature Festival in Dehradun from 17-19th November 2017.

As part of the festival, a special section RST Forum has been planned as a tribute to Late Dr. R S Tolia & also to continue the legacy of his work a few sessions have been planned on issues related to Mountain Development. RST Forum has been conceptualised as Development Dialogue around development literature and development action. Development action shall be showcasing works of 30+ organizations from around the country under crafts exhibition.

RST Forum is being organized with the joint efforts of Sustainable Development Foundation Uttranchal (SDFU), Integrated Mountain Initiative ( IMI) & Shivalik Hills Foundation Trust. RST Forum and Craft Exhibition has been supported by Tata Trusts, Himmothan, UNDP & ICIMOD.

We request you to grace us with your presence at all the sessions of RST Forum & support Craft Exhibition. It will also be a great opportunity for you to participate in other sessions of Valley of Words.

R.S. Tolia, Ph.D., is former Chief Secretary ( 2003-05 ) and Chief Information Commissioner ( 2005-10) of Uttarakhand. Presently he occupies the NTPC Chair, Centre for Public Policy, Doon University and heads CHEA, Naini Tal and CInI, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand dedicated to mountain and central Indian regions respectively.
